|0000208||124thATC||[All Projects] En route||public||2016-08-21 09:35||2016-11-22 05:12|
|Platform||x64||OS||(All OS)||OS Version||(All versions)|
|Target Version||Fixed in Version|
|Summary||0000208: Waypoints with only three letters (VORs and NDBs) should be spelled in phonetical alphabet|
|Description||In case there are VORs and NDBs (three letters) in the flight plan they should be spelled in phonetical alphabet for better understanding. See following example:|
124thATC v2.0-a45 22:50:04 : Communication: Cessna D-EFSV, turn right heading 144 for MAH.
In this case MAH is a VOR and ATC should say "MIKE ALPHA HOTEL" for this waypoint, currently it is saying is as one word. Rule: in case a waypoint only has three letters, say it in phonetical alphabet. Maybe the specification from 0000205 could be used here as well, adding a new pattern "CCC".
OPTION 2 (further improvement)
In case the plugin can detect, if a waypoint is a VOR or NDB, this information also could be used, by adding VOR or NDB (important: spelled as single normal letters) before the name. Example: Cessna D-EFSV, turn right heading 144 for "V O R MIKE ALPHA HOTEL".
